January Yard Birds:

Happy New Year!

Mourning Doves have been hogging the real estate on our platform birdfeeder.

They were not impressed when a European Starling dropped by for a visit.

A juvenile Dark-eyed Junco stopped for a rest in our Christmas Tree. Our tree is now sitting near the feeders to provide additional shelter for visiting birds.

American Goldfinch and Northern Cardinal tolerating each other.

Cardinals are plentiful. We regularly see 8 cardinals in the yard!
